Brawijaya University Postgraduate School (SPUB) carried out a Field Assessment by the BAN-PT Assessor Team in the Context of Re-Accreditation of the Environmental Science Doctoral Program

On Monday-Tuesday, March 4–5, 2024, the SPUB Environmental Science Doctoral Program carried out a field assessment in the context of re-accreditation by the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education in the Courtroom, Floor 2, Building A, SPUB. This field assessment was held offline, attended by a team of assessors, namely Dr. Dwi Setyawan from Sriwijaya University and Dr. Ir. Prastawa Budi, M.Sc. from Hasanuddin University. This activity was also attended by Mr. Andi Kurniawan, S.Pi., M.Eng.D.Sc. as Deputy Chancellor for Planning, Cooperation, and Internationalization.

 

On the first day, the activity began with the opening of the assessment by Mr. Andi Kurniawan, S.Pi., M.Eng.D.Sc. then continued with remarks by Prof. Dr. Moh. Khusaini, S.E., M.Si., M.A. as Director of SPUB. Next was a speech introducing the assessor panel as well as reading and signing the field assessment statement by Dr. Dwi Setyawan. The first day’s agenda was attended by SPUB leadership, the Head of the Environmental Science Doctoral Study Program, SPUB unit leaders, lecturers, stakeholders, alumni, students, and education staff.

 

On the second day, the activity continued with a confirmation session with middle management, alumni, and external users regarding the implementation of functional areas, academic programs, resource management, expectations, satisfaction, and input. Next is a session with lecturers and education staff regarding confirmation of performance, involvement, service, and satisfaction. As well as sessions with students regarding confirmation of student involvement, achievements, service, and satisfaction. The activity ended with the delivery of the minutes to the leadership and the signing of the field assessment minutes by the assessor team and leadership. By holding this re-accreditation field assessment activity, it is hoped that the Environmental Science Doctoral Program will get the best accreditation results with the title of Superior
