Academic Registration

A. Academic Registration Procedures

Students log in to the SIAM application (https://siam.ub.ac.id/).
Students update their biodata. Students MUST fill in data regarding their home address and address in Malang (if any) according to their actual address. Make sure the cellphone number that can be contacted is the correct number and is active. Please also ensure that the Population Identification Number (NIK) is correct. Incorrect information will result in students not getting important information sent to their address or cellphone number.
Students fill in the Study Plan Card (KRS) according to the provisions.

B. Schedule and Conditions for Administrative Registration/Payment and Academic Registration/Completing KRS for Postgraduate School, Brawijaya University

Registration/Completing KRS for Postgraduate School, Brawijaya University

  1. Administrative registration/payment schedule for the Brawijaya University Postgraduate School: January 22 to February 2 2024.
  2. Date of academic registration/filling in KRS for Postgraduate School, Brawijaya University: 23 January to 3 February 2024. The schedule for filling in KRS is as follows:
  3.  Consultation and validation (validation) of KRS, KHS by the Head of the Study Program (KPS) can be done online or offline.
  4. Students who have completed their Final Assignment (Thesis, Dissertation) but have not completed it, are still required to carry out academic registration (fill in the KRS) to program their Thesis / Dissertation.
  5. Students who do not implement the above provisions will receive academic sanctions according to the Brawijaya University Postgraduate School Education Handbook for the 2023/2024 Academic Year.

C. Sanctions for Failure to Register

  1. Students who do not carry out administrative registration in the Even semester of T.A. 2023/2024 are declared not registered as students at Brawijaya University and are not permitted to carry out academic and student activities in that semester.
  2. For students who have carried out administrative registration (payment of SPP/UKT) but it turns out that academically they do not meet the requirements to continue their studies, the SPP/UKT fees paid in the Even semester of T.A. 2023/2024 will be returned.
  3. Students who are late or do not carry out administrative registration are advised to immediately apply for academic leave online via the SIAM application (https://siam.ub.ac.id/), the leave form can be accessed at (https://s.ub. ac.id/formcutispub) request for leave is addressed to the Chancellor, no later than April 3 2024.
  4. Students who are not registered for more than 2 (two) cumulative and consecutive semesters, are declared Study Failed (Drop Out). Thus, this announcement was made to attract attention and be implemented as appropriate.
