Master and Doctoral Scholarships
1. Overview
Scholarship Indonesia (BPI) Program Master and Doctorate is a scholarship program funded by the government of Indonesia through the utilization of the Development Fund of National Education (DPPN) and managed by the LPDP to finance further studies at Master degree or doctoral programs at universities at home and abroad ,
This scholarship aims to support the availability of human resources in Indonesia are educated and qualified and have a high leadership and has a vision of the future of the nation as powerful as the future leaders of Indonesia. LPDP commitment is realized through the provision of financial assistance in the form of scholarships to the community for further studies at the Master program or doctoral program at the College of featured both inside and outside the country for qualified LPDP.
Target applicants BPI Master and doctoral are Indonesian citizens (citizen) who has the ability to academic excellence and strong leadership as well as the desire to carry out further studies on the Master program or doctoral program at a college destination LPDP both in the field of science the same or different with the field of science in education before.

2. Requirements Applicants
BPI requirements for applicants to the Master program or doctoral program outlined in general terms and specific requirements below.
1. General Requirements
a. Indonesian citizen (citizen);
b. Has completed a study program of undergraduate or graduate programs:
1. Universities in the country which has been accredited by the National Accreditation Board of Higher Education (BAN-PT), or
2. Higher Education official in the country, or
3. Universities abroad who have registered with the Directorate General of Higher Education, Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia.
c. Has the character of leadership, professionalism, nationalism, patriotism, integrity, have confidence, perseverance, self-reliance, maturity in managing emotions, and adaptability;
d. Participate in social activities / science / innovation / creativity / culture;
e. Willing to sign an affidavit stating that the applicant:
1. Willing returned to Indonesia after the completion of studies;
2. Not receiving / will receive scholarships from other sources;
3. Do not engage in activities / actions that violate the law, or follow the organization as opposed to the ideology of Pancasila;
4. Never / will be involved in activities / actions that violate the code of ethics Academic;
5. Always devoted to the interests of the Indonesian people;
6. Always be faithful to the Republic of Indonesia;
7. Able to meet the requirements stipulated scholarship LPDP;
8. Deliver the right data and documents, according the original documents and willing to accept the legal sanctions that apply if the document is invalid.
f. Has received permission from the boss at work;
g. The certificate of able-bodied and drug free (for all applicants in domestic and foreign) and for the purpose of overseas coupled with free tuberculosis expressed by doctors of the government hospital;
h. Has been getting a recommendation from community leaders to those who have / not working, or a recommendation from the boss at work;
i. Have and choose the appropriate scientific fields with scientific fields targeted LPDP;
j. Choose courses and universities in accordance with the provisions of LPDP;
k. Write an essay (500 to 700 words) with the theme: “Kontribusiku For Indonesia: contribution has been, is and will I do to people / institutions / agencies / profession my community” and “Greatest Success in My Life”;
l. If there is a falsification of data or documents the registrant disqualified and are not eligible to register again in LPDP;
m. Submit Letter of Good Behavior / Suat Police Notes (SKCK) were taken at the time of selection interviews;
2. Special Requirements
Applicants scholarships for further studies Master and Doctoral programs are those that meet the following conditions.
a. Masters program for scholarship applicants:
1. Maximum age of applicants on 31 December in the year of registration is 35 (thirty five) years,
2. Has completed studies in a degree program / bachelor of applied and does not apply to those who have completed the master program both within and outside the country.
3. Have a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) from Universities Unconditional destination on the list LPDP.
4. If you do not have the law of attraction Unconditional (a.3), the registrant shall coined the grade point average (GPA) of a minimum of 3.00 on a scale of 4 and have an official document evidence of mastery of the English language published by ETS (www.ets.org) or IELTS (www.ielts.org) is still valid or other foreign languages specified LPDP:
a. To study the Master program in the country, minimum scores: TOEFL ITP® 500 / iBT® 61 / IELTS ™ 6.0 / TOEIC® 600.
b. For the Masters program of study abroad, minimum scores: TOEFL ITP® 550/79 iBT® TOEFL / IELTS ™ 6.5 / TOEIC® 750.
c. Items a) and b) shall not apply to those who complete higher education that uses the language of instruction of academic English or internationally recognized by the United Nations (UN). Duplicate certificate used as a substitute for TOEFL requirement, with a validity period of 2 (two) years since the diploma was issued.
d. For the Masters program of study abroad at universities that non-academic language of English or internationally recognized by the United Nations (UN), can adjust to the requirements of the applicable language skills.
5. Schedule tuition plan begins a minimum of 6 (six) months after the closure of the registration in each period selection.
6. Able to complete the master’s study program in accordance the applicable study period, a maximum of two (2) years,
7. Having an official document TPA / GRE / GMAT / LSAT (if any),
8. Write a study plan in accordance master study program at the college destination.
b. Doctoral program for scholarship applicants
1. Maximum age of applicants on 31 December in the year of registration is 40 (forty) years;
2. Has completed the study in the master program / master applied;
3. Have a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) Unconditional of universities that exist in the list LPDP.
4. Especially for grain (b.3) if it does not have a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) Unconditional, the registrant shall coined the grade point average (GPA) of a minimum of 3.25 on a scale of 4, or GPA scale equivalent to the other and having official documents evidence of mastery English diterbikan by ETS (www.ets.org) or IELTS (www.ielts.org) is still valid or other foreign languages specified LPDP:
a. To study the doctoral program in the country, minimum scores: TOEFL ITP® 500 / iBT® 61 / IELTS ™ 6.0 / TOEIC® 600.
b. For the doctoral program of study abroad, minimum scores: TOEFL ITP® 550/79 iBT® TOEFL / IELTS ™ 6.5 / TOEIC® 750.

6. Able to complete the doctoral studies in accordance the applicable study period, a maximum of 4 (four) years;
7. Having an official document TPA / GRE / GMAT / LSAT (if any);
8. Write a summary of the research proposal in accordance doctoral studies program at the college destination;
3. Component Financing
To support the smooth and successful program of further studies on the Master or Doctoral program at the College of destination, to the recipient of the Scholarship Indonesia awarded education grants that include the following components:
1. Cost of Education:
a. Registration (at cost);
b. SPP, including non-language matriculation (at cost);
C. Non-SPP, which can be used to support books, theses / dissertations, seminars, publications, graduation (package, per year, accumulative).
2. Cost of Supporting:
a. Departure and return transportation study of the origin of domicile to college destination (one time, at cost)
b. Health insurance (package),
c. Visa (at cost),
d. Monthly living / living allowance (package),
e. Family allowance (package),
f. Arrival / settlement allowance (package),
g. Incentives college rankings seeded comply LPDP,
h. Emergencies / force majeure approved by the LPDP.
4. Time Registration and Selection Process
BPI registration for Master and Doctoral Program open throughout the year, with the selection process conducted 4 (four) times.
Registration BPI conducted online by filling out the registration form and upload all documents completeness official website LPDP in www.beasiswa.lpdp.kemenkeu.go.id.
Selection BPI stages are as follows:
1. Registration
a. Applicants fill out an online registration form on the official website LPDP;
b. Applicants complete all required documents and the relevant supporting documents, and upload all such documents on the official website LPDP;
c. All documents in points 1.b above must be taken at the selection stage interview if passed the administrative selection.
2. Selection Administration
Registrants are processed in this phase is already complete and submit the registration data in the online registration in each period selection. This selection is the process of checking the completeness of the data and documents of applicants in accordance with the applicable requirements in the LPDP.
3. Selection Interview, Leaderless Group Discussion (LGD) and On the Spot Essay Writing
a. Participants who pass the administration on the online registration eligible for selection interviews, Leaderless Group Discussion (LGD), and On the Spot Essay Writing.
b. In this stage of the selection process, participants are required to bring all the data and original documents that have been used for scholarship registration BPI. If it does not submit the data and documents as well as documents and the data is not in accordance with the applicable requirements in LPDP it is not allowed to participate in the Selection Interview, Leaderless Group Discussion (LGD) and On the Spot Essay Writing.
c. For participants who do not pass the Selection interviews have 1 (one) times the chance of returning to register Scholarship Indonesia.

Determination Scholarship Recipients
a. Results of the determination of passing the selection interview, Leaderless Group Discussion (LGD) and On the Spot Essay Writing Scholarship Indonesia communicated to the applicants who passed through online registration applicants account, email or other electronic media according to the time specified by the LPDP.
b. Participants who passed into awardees will follow courses Departures (PK) before starting studies at the University Purpose respectively. The program is a specialized form of planting quarantine values of nationalism, leadership, basic life training, financial literacy, and so on.
c. College admission letter unconditionally (LoA Unconditional) obtained no later than one (1) year after issued Decree Director of LPDP About Education Scholarship Indonesia. If the time period is not met grantee that has been set then disqualified.
5. Form of Abuse
a. Grantee later proved not qualify for Scholarship Indonesia,
b. Grantee later convicted of falsification of documents,
c. Scholarship recipients did not report the development of their studies or do not get reasonable results within the stipulated time;
d. Grantee resigned in the span of the study;
e. Grantee sentenced to either civil or criminal for violating the laws of the destination country to learn;
f. Grantee proved get scholarship funding from other funding at the same time;
g. Grantee is found plagiarism;
h. Scholarship recipients proved to follow the activities / organizations that are contrary to Pancasila and endanger the Homeland;
i. Scholarship recipients have completed the study and refused to return and serve to Indonesia due to get a job abroad without permission LPDP.
